        “Istituto Comprensivo Statale L. Pirandello” in Pesaro, Italy, consists of 4 Kindergartens, 5 Primary Schools, 2 Secondary Schools (about 1200 students). The nearest school is situated in the immediate suburb of Pesaro, the farthest in a little village about 18 km from the main town.

         The school is attended by children with physical or mental disabilities too and the Institute is very well known because of a team of teachers who work on special projects to guarantee their integration in the class and their wellbeing.

​

            A large percentage of the students admitted to the schools are immigrants so this project could help and develop more sense, respect and curiosity for other cultures.

Since 2003 the school has been involved in European School Partnership Projects.

        The English teachers prepare the students of Primary and Secondary school to Cambridge Young Learners tests.

              Our Institute was among the top five national winners of the contest “L’Europa cambia la scuola” - Label 2010, an award for the quality of European projects in the Italian school.
