Lithuania

               Lithuania is a small country on the map of Europe. In this small country is Šiauliai district. Here is a small town Meškuičiai. The kindergarten is built in the center of the town. Near is a beautiful park, gymnasium, cultural center, eldership, church, library.

               Meškuičiai kindergarten established in 1964. There are 4 groups in the institution. Education is carried out in accordance with the pre-school education program “I am in a hurry to grow up ...” and the General pre-school education program prepared by the kindergarten. Speech therapy is provided for children with special educational needs. There are 11 teachers in the kindergarten.

               Kindergarten is recognized as a health-promoting school, included in the Lithuanian network of health-promoting schools, and implements the health program “Healthy Kindergarten”.

               Living in a small community gives children the naturally opportunity to take over the nation's traditions, develop the ability to communicate with each other and with adults, develop a child's self-confidence, respectful attitude towards the environment and other people.

 

               The outdoor space “Goat garden“” has been adapted for the experiential education of children, where there is a greenhouse, vegetables, herbs and fruit trees are grown.
